Along with Upper Echelon Fitness/Portland Bicycle Studio, we threw a benefit party for the Alpenrose Velodrome repairs. We had beer from Laurelwood Brewery and of course pizza from Sizzle Pie. With the silent auction with items from so many amazing contributors and other antics like  local track star Dean Tracy cutting off Zak’s hair with a dull pocket knife and autographed jerseys from Jacob Rathe, we raised over $5000 dollars.

If you weren’t lucky enough to have made it out or got out bid in the auction but still want to help the velodrome, you can donate on the OBRA site. Also Castelli have created this jersey to raise funds as well. They will be for sale thru May for $100 to be delivered in July.
